Columbia Gold

“Columbian Gold” was a collaborative community arts project between the British Museum and Mary Ward Centre inspired by the Museum’s Beyond Eldorado; Power and Gold in Ancient Columbia”
Sophie co ordinated the project, collaborated with other artists and ran workshops to create a “Mountain” inspired by traditional Columbian folk crafts, flora and fauna.  The piece was exhibited in the Great Court at the British Museum in Autumn 2013.

Sophie also co ran a workshop at the Community Preview of the exhibition with museum visitors.
